Is Skinuva Brite suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?
The safety of Skinuva Brite has not been evaluated in children under the age of 18 or in women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Standard cosmetic safety testing was performed in clinical trials in healthy adult volunteers. Skinuva Brite does not include ingredients known to be potentially harmful to children, babies, pregnant women, or nursing women when the product is used as directed. Therefore, pregnancy is not considered a contraindication for Skinuva Brite.
Can Skinuva Brite be used on acne/acne scars?
Acute acne (red/raised/ pimples/cysts) should be managed under the supervision of a dermatologist and should be managed sooner rather than later so that they have a better chance of improvement with treatments and/or products. If the old acne site has some hyperpigmentation, Skinuva Brite may be beneficial in reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation and providing a more even skin tone.
